It boils down to an algorithm!The gender genie! This was just a classification problem, and they trained using hundreds of documents to make a correlation. Cha! I should have known.

The genie thinks I am a male. I used this page, which imo is a very girlie writing.
So, what was the result for your page, particularly for the one with words like "kick butt", "blow nose" and all?
None of my posts were long enough. I used the Identity Crisis post which was the only long post of mine and the gender genie returned the verdict - female.
Two other posts, 1 and 2 that I wrote for my writing classes -returned one as male and the other as female.
Genie needs a lot more training - of the four posts I fed it, three identified me as "male".
Or I write like a male :-|!
Amazing, it decided all of my posts were male. But looking at this http://blogher.org/node/14070, it looks like it is biased to rate entries as male.
